Plasticizer business

Plasticizer (Plasticizer)

Plasticizer is a material added to plastics, including PVC, to enhance flexibility and other various physical properties, and are used in wallpapers, floor materials, electric cables, artificial leathers, etc.

Based on the world’s best production capacity and technology, Aekyung Chemical has a wide range of products, ranging from general-purpose plasticizers to functional and eco-friendly plasticizers.

 

PA, MA, ITA (Phthalic Anhydride, Maleic Anhydride, It)

PA, MA, ITA are basic compounds that are used as main raw materials for various resins.

Since commercializing PA for the first time in Korea, Aekyung Chemical has the world's best quality and production capacity through constant technology development and expansion. 

Ester Lubricant Base Oil (Ester Lubricant Base Oil)

Ester lubricant base oil, a fatty acid ester compound, is used as an oil and additive for high-performance industrial and special lubricating oil in the Group V area.

Synthetic Resin Business

Unsaturated polyester resin, Vinylester (Unsaturated polyester resin, Vinylester)

The unsaturated polyester resin is used for various purposes throughout the industry because it is easy to form and has excellent workability and mechanical properties. The vinylester resin has excellent chemical performance and mechanical properties. 

Coating Resin (Coating Resin)

Aekyung Chemical's coating resin has a variety of product lines such as solvent based acrylic, and alkyd, etc. and is used as a basic raw material for paint, ink and coating materials as acrylic and urethane resins. 

PSA & adhesive (PSA, Adhesive)

PSA adheres to the surface of an object with little pressure, adheres lightly and strongly as well as easily detaches from the material without contaminating the object during the process and maintains its tacky at room temperature due to its cohesiveness and elasticity. It is not activated by solvent or heat and does not change its physical properties in a prescribed atmosphere.

Industries that use PSA has expanded recently, starting from automobile, electricity, construction, logistics, printing, paper manufacturing to electronic materials, cellphone touchscreens, medicine, etc.  

Polyisocyanate Hardener (Polyisocyanate Hardner)

Polyisocyanate hardener based on isocyanate raw materials is a cross-linker to cure polyols through urethane reaction. It can be used for improvement of physical/chemical properties.

Aekyung Chemical offers a variety of polyisocyanate hardener solutions in various industries and the best performance. 

PU (Polyester polyol / Polyurethane system)

We supply aromatic structural polyester polyol and polyurethane system of excellent thermal insulation and flame retardancy.

Basic Surfactants (Basic Surfactants)

Surfactants are compounds that lower the surface or interfacial tension between two liquids by adhering to the interface within an aqueous solution. Due to its excellent foam formation and detergency, it is used as the main raw material for personal care products, detergents, and home/industrial detergents, etc.

It is generally classified into anionic, cationic, zwitterionic (amphoteric) and non-ionic surfactants. Aekyung Chemical has the largest production capacity for anionic surfactants produced in a continuous vapor-liquid process in Korea.
 

Mild Surfactants (Mild Surfactants)

Mild surfactant are surfactants that have various advantages such as lowering skin irritation and improving skin barriers and moisture during the cleansing stage.

It is as an eco-friendly product with excellent sulfate-free and biodegradability; Aekyung Chemical strives to provide technologies beneficial for both the human body and the environment.
 

Refined Glycerine (Refined Glycerine)

It is used in various industries, ranging from cosmetics and food additives to industrial raw materials (PPG, etc.).

Aekyung Chemical produces high-quality products with a purity of 99.5% or higher.
 

Polymer Product (Polymer Product)

It is a water-soluble polymer product used as a functional additive of laundry detergents, cosmetics, ceramics, pesticides, and water treatment agents; it is a polymer product that can give various properties to household chemical products.
 

Bio & Energy business field

Bio Diesel (Bio Diesel)

Bio diesel is environment-friendly sustainable fuel based on vegetable oil that is used in combination with the fossil diesel in order to reduce the emission of the environmental pollutants 

Bio Heavy Oil (Bio Heavy oil)

Bio heavy oil is environment-friendly bio-content fuel for power planting of which the main material is vegetable oil and animal oil and fat and replaces fossil bunker C oil in the thermoelectric power plant and contributes to reduction of emission of environmental pollutants. 

Anode (Anode)

Anode is one of the four major components of secondary batteries mainly used for electric vehicle, IT products and ESS.

The hard carbon anode material made from our own precursor has excellent life cycle, quick charge and discharge performance at low temperature.
For that reason, hard carbon is excellent for high-power battery system.
